John Porter: The story of Alex McIntyre

John wrote the biography of his climbing partner, Alex, who tragically died in 1982 at the age of 28 whilst setting up a new route on Annapurna’s south face, having pioneered front-point ice-climbing with solo ascents of Zero Gully and Point Five on the Ben and alpine-style fast & light ascents in the Himalayas.
